Basketball, Football (AFL) and Politics. Not always in that order.
Old dogs and grandchildren, but no wine, except about Politics.
We get the government that we deserve. Think about what you are doing. The parties do not represent people. Only themselves.

Moths to the light?
It's a pity. When electors could have avoided this situation, they chose not to.
Your mid-terms will be a great indicator of just how far the country has lapsed.

Pam Bondi lies.
Is she a sociopath too?

When lobbyists, from wherever they might come, offer to fund the re-election campaigns of (all) parties they will expect something in return.
The problem is, and always has been, with those putting their hands out.
Not with those offering, even if they turn into Rumpelstiltskin.

It's strange that he claims to be a realist yet fully supports liberalism in its attempts to maintain a rules based international world order.
Maybe he doesn't know what the words mean.
Zealotry may have got him elected on the LNP side, but understanding seems to be his downfall.

That's right.
I actually believed what he had to say. He sounded genuine (not the French bit-that could have been anything) instead of just spewing out word salads as our politicians do.
We had a chance to be more like Canada earlier this year but chose to double down on weakness.

Well, wasn't that refreshing.

I won't bother to hold my breath waiting for a trickle-down effect to inspire Albanese. He is beyond inspiration & just hankers for yesterday.

Why not?
They don't really have that much to lose. There are just two considerations that they would need to focus on.
1. Would they get more votes the 2nd time around? It's doubtful.
2.The impact on their credibility.
Perhaps they should just focus on the byelection.

If only @albomp.bsky.social would get something.
Almost anything would be better than sitting in the corner jumping at shadows.

I'm not so sure that Tim is corrupt. He is a Liberal so there is a fair chance of it, but he is so full of shit that he qualifies as more than one arsehole.

Despite the hyperbolic shit I wonder whether he thinks that there might be a reason for that.

Hume personifies the unrepresentative swill that she acts like, so I don't see what is surprising about her maniacal claims.
Hopefully, however, the Chinese community have long memories and remember where the real abuse is coming from.
Put Liberals last!

Can scientists also trace where politicians, who are too cowardly to take on the fossil fuel companies, left their balls?
Or is this a task that is just way beyond any efforts that anyone could implement?

Not just the UK. The whole world should strap on a set and tell the US to go fuck itself.
