My take: Newsom saw Trump win in 2024. Newsom knew there would no longer be free and fair elections and that his trajectory as a presidential hopeful was over permanently. So he's looking for a new career - the next Joe Rogan maybe? Or just a useful idiot to Trump's administration. He's a poseur.

I'm frankly shocked that Trump has been doing so many interviews with mainstream media of late. Especially with his numbers is being so bad.
