He likes to brag about how he "invented the internet" but never really acknowledges his acceptance of the social media mob mentality and relentless dogpiling that he built his brand on.
Talk shit about everyone else = good for business, nature of the beast
Talk shit about me = cancel culture!

High speed rail in Cali is an ok idea, high speed rail in the Midwest is gangster shit. Chicago hub could connect nearly a dozen states and bring hundreds of thousands of jobs to America's heartland while also being way cheaper on a per mile basis due to flatter land and preexisting routes.

surely the administration that wants to eliminate birthright citizenship will respect the fact that you married an immigrant and will definitely not deport them anyways

Lots of people who have claimed they're being "cancelled" for the past 5-10 years are going on more talk shows and podcasts to do more interviews, writing and publishing more books, going on more speaking tours, and making more money...It begs the question, what exactly does being cancelled mean?

One could also make the argument that cancel culture has been used as a marketing tool. Shane Gillis got "cancelled" and his audience went from thousands to millions overnight. A lot of comedians sell terrible comedy on the idea that they're fighting against wokeness or cancel culture.

While some people have lost work or advertisers for things they've said/done, that's always happened. It isn't unique to today. It's just broadcasted more in a relentless media environment where we get updates on a minute by minute basis.

99% of cancel culture is just getting yelled at on social media. It's a natural, but unfortunate byproduct of creating a town square for millions of people. If thousands of people yell at you on a platform of millions, it's not oppression.

Frequent use of TRT can increase water retention and lead to fat redistribution within the body, thus affecting a person's natural shape. It can also cause a condition called "bubble gut" which is basically a bulky distended abdomen. That's why he looks like that.

It's a combination of being very short and doing steroids very frequently for over a decade. He doesn't know it's steroids though, he thinks testosterone replacement therapy is different. It isn't. Typically TRT injections are advised to be administered every 1-2 weeks. Rogan takes one every 4 days.

Abundance feels like rebranded neoliberalism that'll fail to address any of the systemic economic and political issues of the day. Kinda sounds a lot like Reagan/Clinton-style deregulation and reliance on the market to solve issues that the market won't solve because the profit motive isn't there

Given Joe Rogan's obsession with Elon and genuine belief (delusion?) that he's one of the smartest people in human history, I'm curious to see how long until he starts criticizing the same stuff. Guy's got a chimp brain. Monkey see, monkey do

Pretty wild that a politician from the same state as Walter Reuther thinks that civil rights and economic populism won't play with her voters.

According to her, like Dan Campbell, the Lions coach. The difference is that Dan Campbell is notorious for sticking his neck out, taking risks and going for it on fourth down and Slotkin basically just wants to punt and play it safe.

Years ago Jay Cutler was trying to explain this to one of the Barstool dudes and asked what sport he was good at and the guy said "I was pretty good at hockey" and Cutler said "Cool, I was one of the best athletes in the state of Indiana in every sport I played in high school."

Golden retrievers make me uneasy. Super nice dogs, but it's like they're all clones of each other. Every golden retriever I've ever met is exactly like every other golden retriever I've ever met. Same look, same personality. It's suspect.

Newsrooms have been run like shit for decades. My old man used to work for a big paper in the 90s and left for the PR industry after the paper fired the investigative team (best reporters they had) because they were expensive and took too long to develop stories (best pieces of journalism they had)
