They will declare Marshall Law and dispatch the Gazpacho Police 🫣

They expelled peacekeepers, were mobilizing troops, closed the straits of Tiran, and basically announced they were going to attack. Simplest preemptive justification ever

Let me clarify further… I’m talking about people already in the US who don’t have criminal backgrounds and are working in industries where they are vital to our economy (for example). Shouldn’t there be a way for them to declare themselves and become documented?
comment in response to post
Thanks Rebecca… and yes, that’s my point, what is Trump doing to facilitate that people who contribute to our economy can have a legit path to a work visa, green card, or citizenship. Answer = nothing

Schumer must hand over the reins to someone who can lead effectively

The most important thing is having a hot take like this with no evidence or analysis yet of what actually happened, right? That’s not to say that Boeing doesn’t have a lot of issues to address, but you know nothing about why this happened.

Not just that, they contribute massively to the US GDP. We have low unemployment, and what we need is controlled but fair immigration policy, paths to documentation and work visas, with no tolerance for real criminality. The Tell is that the gov’t isn’t doing anything substantive on this.

Just one aspect I called out as an example. It’s not an issue of me being able to manage or accomplish things, it’s that I do a poor job of separating work at home, floating in and out of both throughout the day.
comment in response to post
Wouldn’t surprise me, but that’s just one aspect I called out and doesn’t address that many of my peers (largely extroverts) have commented similarly on their dislike of work from home. Personally, it seems unsurprising to me that extroverts might not enjoy work from home as much as others.

Er both

See my statement about my comments being knowingly anecdotal (including reference to peers commenting similarly). Having said that, one study isn’t dispositive, as many factors affect the results… which is why we publish so that others can bother review and conduct their own studies.

Many who follow news only do so selectively with sources that reinforce their priors

I question these findings. I work for a tech employer and at least in the field organization (many extroverts), most of my peers would disagree. I find that my schedule is less regimented, I eat worse, and I feel more isolated. I understand this is anecdotal, but more analysis required IMO

Actually, it IS great. Until we experience a lot of pain, the American people aren’t going to wake up to the fact that they’ve been taken by that charlatan. Tariff driven inflation may be the pain we need to wake people from their blue pill slumber

Not really. A handful of non-Sith use or have used red, but nearly all of those (Mara Jade, Asajj Ventress, etc) were originally trained by Sith.

The idiots who elected that fraud need to experience real pain before they turn on him. It’s going to painful for a lot of people unfortunately, but it’s the only way for them to figure out that guy has no plan beyond empowering himself and his cronies

And Obama shouldn't have pushed Biden to clear the way for her. Competent or not, she just wasn't all that likeable on a national scale, and it mattered.

We do not need more progressives. We need liberal and left leaning centrists who will stand against the GOP, represent the vast majority of Americans, and pass reforms that reduce the number of safe districts and encourages less extreme candidates in primaries.

As an American, I appreciate all of you Canadians standing up against this idiocy! Don't come here and don't buy American until our government reverses course not only on economic and trade issues, but also support for democratic norms, Ukraine, etc.

You're a coward who has allowed America and the Dems to be intimidated and manhandled by the GOP time and again. Time to step down and let a new generation take over.

A train that could consistently do the trip between Chicago and Detroit in 2 1/2 hours would be fantastic. Unfortunately the best Amtrak option currently is a bit over 5 hours, about the same as driving (and about 30% of the time it's late).
