After my daughter graduates today, her new school will be Mark Twain. I'm just now realizing how cool it is to have schools named after writers.

I need more than a few Zzzzzs. I think I'm behind an entire alphabet. 😜

Looks worth savoring.

The autocorrect in my mind comes up with depose for your misspelling. An amusing thought. I plan to have some autocorrect humor in my WIP, but I don't know how hard it will be to come up with.

Sure, most of the time it's boring stuff, but it could be secret plans for an attack on the Rebels. [A current events and Star Wars reference.]

I had an odd experience. My intuition said Nils need to send a video with his message. I shrugged it off and 3 times I aborted a reply. I think my intuition wanted me to shut up for once. 😂 Now you've send a video with your message! 😲

I forgot to mention this earlier, but one of the women in that collaboration is Loah, who's done a lot of cool stuff solo. This one's a cover, and it's fantastic, but make sure to check out her own songs too: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iynl...

I've been sharing versions of that clip for at least a decade. His stuff was always on point.

I had the impression Wattpad and some other sites were specifically for this purpose. Are you doing it on other sites already?

Good luck with selling your patterns. My daughter has been obsessed with crochet for a couple of months, ever since she discovered it.

Great album. I've listened to it many times.

Had that same thought for years.

I have a chapter called TL;DR which goes over the topic of voting on bills they don't read.

It's hard to track how much is discarded because I do mental drafts before it hits the computer, but most of my words make it into the final other than grammar and word smithing. Like 80%. I also mull things over for years.

I'm forever young, but a bit wiser at 55.

Fuck is about right. I read the story about 5 times and processed the news for about 6 hours before I could even articulate what I did.

With all these running posts Ive got Iron Maiden songs in my head, a medley of "The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner" and "Run to the Hills." That's random. 😂

Story of my life too. Just keep making progress and you will arrive. Pulling for you.

Cruises are my preferred form of vacation. These pictures remind me that it's been a long time since I've gone sailing.

Thanks for posting something uplifting and a reminder to practice gratitude. 🙏 I have a reminder on my phone, but I snooze it too often.

Love that shade of purple, which is my favorite color!

It can, but I tend to drink the coffee before the smoothie. That's true.

It's a true classic, and in that film, the AI does essentially what they asked it to do, but humanity is unhappy with how it achieved those goals. Great irony. My current work in progress is very much an AI cautionary tale. I'm going for War Games meets The Matrix with a helping of satire.

My mom used to call me kiddo and pill. So I said if I'm a pill, I'll call you pillbox since I came out of you. 🙄 I was a smart ass. Any term of endearment could turn sinister in the wrong lips.

D&D was half of what got me into writing. Star Wars is the other half. I'm more partial to sci-fi over fantasy because I like to imagine a hopeful future. Lately, it's been harder to be hopeful.

I love those kinds of reviews. It's a great quote.
