I just had a conversation with a person who lives in my apartment building about this. His take is that she’s too left leaning. I say that MAGA has gone so far right that the natural rebound will be to the left. We’ll find out in 2028. 👍🇺🇸

It would be a different matter if Social Security payments were voluntary but they’re not. Employers are required by law to deduct from their employees’ paychecks. And now MAGA politicians want to steal this money from people who have paid into Social Security for decades. At best, this is fraud.

3/4 apartment for a couple of years now. Slowly closing off the gaps that lead to the roach other world. Drywall compound and lots of paint.
The aphids are pretty easy. Fortunately the treatment is cheap and easy - a dish soap/water solution applied to the leaves to smother the aphids.

My employers were forced to deduct the money from my earnings and pay it to the U.S. government. Using coercion to obtain money based on a premise or promise that is not fulfilled is typically referred to extortion or fraud. Let’s not mince words.
