I enjoy it, but a bit like someone else said, I don’t interact as it’s generally just a series of announcements. Which are great to see, but I don’t feel the need to reply. Will try and click like a bit more often :-)

Me too. And seeing today’s news I’m glad I chose that option!

Salty jelly babies are my go to ride treat. Salty cause I mix them in with salted nuts and other dried fruit, but a salty jelly baby is amazing!

Also, pisticated. Which is mildly drink. Which may or may not reflect my current state. 🤪

Nuggle. It’s a cuddle and nuzzle combined.

Gah - I hadn’t realised he had passed away. Sad sad news. Wishing those that knew him personally some comfort. Donation incoming.

Are they the same Claes as Lotte Claes?

Gutted for him. Heal well.

I love them!

Now then!

I used to do the same when I had Discovery plus. This is where the conversation started at work yesterday - and then we made the connection that TV without pictures = radio!

Ned does the world feed commentary get broadcast to radio at all? Could it? We were discussing at work today - feels like there’s potential for cycling radio in the same way as there’s Test match special. Might not be quite so soothing on stages like Sundays though 😅

I was 15 when my peers gently (ha!) disabused me of the sincerely held belief that haggis were small furry animals running around in the Highlands. Captain Beaky and my parents have much to answer for 🙃

I don’t understand why it is set up like that. Even adding one more unit so the narrowing starts on the bend itself rather than the exit would make this so much safer IMO. It gave me (minor) vibes of the arrangement that took out Elynor Backstedt and Ellen van Dijk in that TTT last (?) year.

Busy work week with yet another leaving do as changes where I work start to bite. Went (very gentle) climbing for the first time since my surgery in November - it was a small, but big, step. Did yoga and watched cycling today. So some more good moving then lots of tense sitting! Thinking of you.

So pleased to see this.

You owe us nothing Beckie. Do what you need to do for you and don’t feel you need to explain or justify. Sending hugs.

Apparently the only sprinter ;-)

Oh Beckie, my heart goes out to you.

Thank goodness for the cycling community here!

Yeah I get it. Sadly. But it feels like we’re going backwards in terms of providing even basic coverage to give that readership a chance to develop.

Equally, it can’t be consumed if it’s not being produced. It is endlessly frustrating to go to sports sites to check up on a race to not even find it mentioned (I’m looking at you BBC Sport). It’s a loop with no end :-(

You’re looking super fit in it. The photo sings joy and energy!

Pedersen is my sprinter. But otherwise no - which I’ll probably regret tbh. But if I mess with it at this late stage I’ll inevitably regret that too!

Roglic Gee Yates Ciccone Pedersen Bais D Fiorelli Lemmen Bardet Nearly switched out Ciccone and Bardet for Fortunato and Pidcock last night. But stuck with the original plan as I always regret meddling. You can thank me when Pidcock and Fortunato collect their stage wins 😂

Can you do it again tomorrow?! 👀

And so it was!
comment in response to post
When I did this I got the opposite result. 😂

Congrats Tim. Beningborough is a great place!

I see your daily morning post, and like them periodically as they amuse me. I don’t see many others tbh - but I tend to use the cycling folk and pro cycling feeds. I do wonder if I’d be better using the ‘following’ feed more

Where is this?
comment in response to post
Pretty sure it’s signifying a different cycle route rather than NCN. See NCN layer on OS maps below for comparison.

Was gonna say the same. I’ve been on the receiving end of it too. Didn’t think much of it at the time but it seems to be an increasing trend (in the posts I’m seeing anyway).

This was me too. Decoration that only comes to life when a pot is secured and spinning so fast it needs three people ready to catch… isn’t really what it’s about. James’ is the one that would catch my attention to stop and look at it more closely in a gallery.

As a recent VPN purchaser and someone trying to improve their French, this is the perfect post to open Bluesky and read! Thanks :-)

Not a native Yorkshirewoman but have lived here for 20 years now and have never heard of that! Sounds ok though - like a (very) skinny crumpet!
