Alas not, It's run by English Heritage and all their sites along Hadrian's wall (Aydon is close to the wall) were shut. âšī¸ Very disappointing.

I made 2 special journeys to find family graves a few years ago, South Ossett church, Wakefield. Gravestones all cleared! And Sheffield General cemetery (to find my Grandfather), 800 stones removed circa 1980 including his. I was fuming!
