Withnail and I is the most quotable film of all time with Richard E Grant about 2 guys who go on holiday by mistake. Set in London in the 1960s. I find it hilarious. Bit of a cult classic that one

If I was to do another B&W it would be “went the day well?” It’s a war film from about 1942 about a German invasion of a small British village. It destroys stereotypes and has several really strong women characters.

Google is becoming increasingly less useful, following a trend it started in 2012. I’d suggest trying perplexity.ai and see what you think of it. And try ChatGPT as well for different questions. Let me know what you think.

If you try and use an LLM as a calculator of course it won’t well, that’s not what it’s designed to do.

In that case you’re using AI tools wrong. Start by being clear on what you want, get a chatbot to ask you questions before it responds with an answer. Same as it’s always been - ask a vague or rubbish question and you’ll get a poor answer.

Google peaked in about 2012 with excellent functionality which it’s spent the last decade removing. Remember, Google isn’t a search engine it’s an advertising platform that uses search to deliver ads. & that’s now failing badly. As usual Google is falling way behind and shows a lack of understanding

Well no. Increasingly AI search engines (and let’s be specific please as “AI” is a generic term) are increasingly accessing the web directly and returning results based on what it finds and including links.
