I think there will be a few teams looking at Simons this offseason, the Magic included

Yeah, I imagine he is completely off limits and complicates efforts to get Simons because he decreases interest in Isaac

I think they will look at all of that. I am working on the Locked On Mock Draft right now and feel confident I can add a big player in a trade and still add a role player and a pick.

I'm not even asking for a third season. A season 2A and 2B like they do on Netflix would have gotten the job done. The series and second season were still great. It just felt rushed from a storytelling perspective.

I'd rather wait for a higher quality product. Not saying all of those aren't all of the highest quality. But Season 2 felt really rushed to me. I found the time jumps jarring at times.
I would have liked an episode on Luthen's informant when he realizes what is happening.

Watching Rogue One after finishing Andor was tonal whiplash. Andor made you see all the rough edges from Rogue One -- the unnecessary fan service, the rushed pacing and all the reshoots. Andor was just more sure of what it wanted to be. Rogue One was trapped as something else.

Glad I wasn't the only one who felt this way. I remember watching some of the early episodes and thinking, "What just happened in the present?" Great character building, but I felt S3 was too weird because they knew they had a S4 coming.

You have no idea how many times I went on a pod or wrote that all the Magic needed to do was be average from three and they were OK. They needed to shoot only 33%, and their record was insanely good.

There were a lot of feelings about this season. Definitely noticed that shell-shocked look on the Magic throughout January and February. We felt it in the media.
Really enjoyed this.

Why Meteora over Hybrid Theory, you might ask? Meteora is the more refined version of Hybrid Theory. All the things they weren't sure about on the opening EP were perfected.
I will also defend A Thousand Suns to the death. Brilliant album. Listen to it as one track.

Fine, you didn't ask. Linkin Park albums ranked:
1. Meteora
2. Hybrid Theory
3. Collision Course
4. A Thousand Suns
5. Minutes to Midnight
6. One More Light
7. From Zero
8. Hunting Party
9. Living Things

Don't let me send you down a rabbit hole of American TV censorship edits. They get weird.

You've never seen the cable version of Pulp Fiction, have you?
You know about the cable version of Die Hard, Mister Falcon?

I would also note, the concert experience yesterday was so different than when I first saw them in 2007 (obviously Chester being the biggest difference, not that Emily isn't amazing live -- she is much better live than on the album). Obviously, it's also 4 new albums. See them if you can!

I believe so... I think they may change the bug on the screen to just the Finals logo. But the scoreboard graphic still says ESPN only.

It is a dead art and part of the reason post play overall has died. A big part of the success for the Magic in the 2009-10 runs were Rashard Lewis, Hedo Turkoglu and Vince Carter were amazing at getting Dwight Howard the ball exactly where he needed it.

The ABC games have been branded as "ESPN on ABC" for at least six or seven years now. The scoreboard graphic says ESPN and at least on cable in the U.S., they have an upper right graphic that says "ESPN on ABC"

We've all watched enough of these playoff games to know that in elimination games, sometimes you have one hill too many to climb and the rope snaps you into free fall. Not an indictment of anything. Just what happens...

The messaging was clearly the problem because it didn't break through even if 78 million Americans believed misinformation. They always debated things on Republican's terms. The people might be led astray, but they need a message that people respond to. That didn't happen.

I agree. Biden was the most progressive president of my lifetime and I would argue the best president of my lifetime (which isn't saying much but still).
But that's not the message they gave in the election. They didn't run on their successes.

And that is just ego. That we all saw it during that first debate and it still took him time to back out was a problem. Optics matter even if they are irrelevant.
In the end, nobody loved Biden. He just wasn't Trump. And that can't be the basis of a party.

There are obvious and clear things that you can disagree with the overall Biden administration. But I generally viewed Biden as a caretaker who gathered a group of mostly well-meaning people to lead the nation and let them run their ideas. They did a lot of (relative) good.

White makes $28m next year. It is not too crazy. But it comes with all the warnings and caveats for other star players (including Anfernee Simons).

In seriousness... you can't rig the Lottery. It is impossible. They will post the actual lottery drawing in a few minutes. The process is extremely regimented. It's random.
Congrats to the Mavs!
