I wouldn’t dare comment on Ireland without being Irish or at least living there and so we feel the same with people making their mind up about here without realising what life is like and what we’re living through. We are unique and too many people miss the nuances of our frankly crazy situation

It irks me to see outsiders calling Gibraltar a pawn in others’ arguments and then using it as a pawn in their own - and this is coming from someone who wasn’t even born here but just loves the place and its amazing people!

It’s what Gibraltarians decide that matters, not non-Gibraltarians with agendas. I just tend to ignore them tbh.

Enjoyed reading this, the way it warps the thinking of the clubs and therefore affects the kids coming through as well as noticeable

It's a highly persuasive bullshit merchant. I've stopped using it for things like this because it is a liar. It's like a partner who keeps cheating and telling you it's the last time. It's smoke and mirrors. I've made financial decisions based on its lies, only small things but you learn don't you?

My wife got sponsored by a random after the Sarah Milican gig on the bus down for a tenner if she would do an extra lap. She agreed, did 6 laps, was first lady to finish, and got on Radio Gibraltar too. Then went out and ran 50km today. You don’t try to understand people like that, you just ❤️ them 👏

You don’t think to check something you couldn’t believe would be true. Won’t make that mistake again.

Supply chain issues, consolidation of/fewer companies in the space, software development leading the way that doesn’t necessarily need new hardware.

Lasted 59 minutes in the end, made you wonder how we’d cope without power for very much longer.

Good call, I stayed at Lumb Bank on a writing retreat when I was a 16-year-old and I have lovely memories of the place. Donation made.

Its heart is in the wrong place. Qobuz feels much more like home to me - only music to start with, no fascist podcasts etc.
