And, in contrast to many millions of other people, his 94 year-old MIL is unlikely to be homeless or starving while she's waiting for that late check to arrive. Unless of course she's dependent on her son-in-law's humanity or sense of compassion.

Make certain to include exhaustive detail of every minute of your work week, e.g., time spent on bathroom breaks, dealing with stupid questions/requests from higher-ups and, especially, the time you spent keeping track of how you spent your time all week, writing it up, and answering the email.

Agreed. But because I would never want to impose my views on RFK Jr, I will make an exception when he is the patient. And, to be fair, I suppose I’ll have to extend that exception to anyone who nominated, supports, or voted to confirm him to his new position. And may they all need surgery very soon.
