And the GOP nods and says “Yup, that’s correct.”

And our response has to be massive, peaceful, and fearless. We will not be cowed. We will not be silent. We will not obey.

Yep. Then. More so now.

The shit is hitting the fan now. We can’t blink, despite the shit spray. We need to be on the streets in the millions, tens of thousands in many locations, PEACEFULLY protesting, despite tear gas, water cannons, rubber bullets, and yes, probably some real bullets coming our way.

I’m heading for Seattle tomorrow to march with them! #FreeDavidHuerta

I’m not part of the #SEIU, or any union, but I won’t just stand in solidarity, I’ll march with them! Tomorrow I’m taking the ferry over to Seattle for this!
comment in response to post
Don’t just root for them, hit the streets! #SEIU chapters in many cities are organizing protests tomorrow to demand the immediate release of David #Huerta, an SEIU union leader who was injured by #ICE and detained for peacefully protesting in LA. I’ll be joining them in Seattle tomorrow!

Well, sure. That’s why it’s stylized as “dry powder”. But that might be after a 50% correction during a full-blown recession.

I suspect part of the plan is to frighten and force the undocumented into hiding in corporate “work facilities”

And eventually, AI/bio hybrids will far surpass humans in intellect, and capability, and will be kind to us only insofar as it suits their self interests. It’s ok, we’ve had a good run, and achieved some marvelous things. But we are too stupid to govern ourselves wisely.

Good ideas, and cooperation/justice focused. I don’t think there has ever been a “universal” golden rule. Evolution is based on cooperation, but also self-interest. Organisms eat, but generally prefer not to be eaten. AI MAY be engineered to wisely govern, but it WILL be engineered to exploit.

Bondi: “So when he was stopped, there were other people in the car?” Aide: “Yes Ma’am.” Bondi: “He was in traffic, and had other humans in the vehicle, so he is a human trafficker!”

Good article though I think some of the “errors” were intentional provocations, and others intentional distraction from the blatant corruption. Nice closing paragraph!

“Now if you will excuse me, I have to go continue my big boy pissing match with Elon.”

Oh poor Elon. Now he’s got buyer’s remorse. Just like all those people who bought cybertrucks & new Teslas!

It’s a grueling job. 4 hrs a day rehearsing lies, 2 hrs spewing lies, 4 hrs promising lobbyists anything for money, and 2 hrs licking Trump’s ass. 8 hrs of sleep and 4 hrs golfing.

What this article gets wrong is Trump’s motivation. Yes, he does want to post big deportation numbers, but that is very much secondary to, or in service of, the primary motivations of establishing an unaccountable, unconstitutional police state and chilling resistance. That should be emphasized!

Call them what they have become, “Trump’s Gestapo”

“Trump said he’d be ‘stupid’ not to accept Bribe Force One from Qatar. This isn’t an intelligence test, it’s a constitutional test. The right answer is: under the Constitution, he must seek approval of Congress to accept a gift ‘of any kind whatever’ from a foreign gov’t or king.” @raskin.house.gov

Thank you! Austin will be especially important when Musky’s robotaxis hit the streets. Boycott them!

Still, the fact that BRK is 30% in short term bonds suggests they are bearish. I’m about 50% in money funds, and 20% bonds, so even more bearish.

Uhh, that is NOT correct. It’s enough to buy ANY of the SP500 companies aside from about the top 20, but not all of them! Coca Cola, for example, is #25 from top, and has market valuation of $310 B.
