True but also there is a non-zero chance this sparks a chain of events that permanently devalues the dollar

Trump is gonna have the CIA do to Elon what they did to Malcolm X

If trump posts the picture of Elon with Ghislaine Maxwell I'm gonna laugh myself into a coma

*seeing the biggest loser and asshole in the bar getting kicked out* if I became friends with that guy I’d be so cool

Forgot where I heard it but someone described it as some guys drawing a gun on an etch a sketch, and then trying to convince everyone the etch a sketch wanted to kill people.

“Artists are landlords” suspend this man’s discourse privileges indefinitely and send him to the reeducation camps

Was curious about the kid from this meme and thought “wonder how her transition is going”, and god did googling that send me on a rollercoaster

A cis man murders a homeless guy on the subway and he’s a hero. A trans woman defends herself from a bigot and she’s “pure evil.”

…and publishers want to start pushing $70 or $80 titles, well, gaming is a luxury and can be cut back on when budgets get tight. Why buy a whole console when I can only afford like two games for it per year?

Additionally; the $60 price point for AAA games not changing for so long effectively meant games were getting cheaper as wages went up (extremely slowly, but yes most people make more now than ~15 years ago). That basically kept things alive with inflation; but now as cost of living is skyrocketing…

Immigrants and trans people have had their entire existence made political, and the guy you bought your car from helped make it that way

This is indeed a confusing notion if you've buried your head in sand for the last six years

I don’t know what this guy dreamed about but I never dreamed “what if a computer could generate me a picture of Garfield with tits” Like the sci-fi dream was automation of labor while we enjoy lives of comfort and that is very obviously not what we’re fucking getting here

Insert Robert Evans quote about how the government had to send in men with rifles to force schools to desegregate here

Republicans would need fewer defectors then! That makes a difference! Fuck off with this “oh it doesn’t matter” crap, every roadblock that can be put in place must be. Make them fight for every fucking inch, that is how you win a war, not rolling over and accepting defeat.

I don't care if this is ageist. 70+ year old should not be running congress or the presidency. There should be a mandatory retirement age because older generations should not be allowed to have a death grip on power like this.

I just see it as something was inevitably going to happen. This is just about the worst way it could have gone from an optics perspective, but it was never going to be good, the crackdown was always coming.
