Very heavy wet snow in Ken Caryl. Although, it’s looking lighter out to the west and actually some sun peeking through the snow.

You make yourself out to be a tough guy.
You proved yourself to be Putin’s little bitch.

I actually heard it was his brother’s sperm—Elon is a troll, and his brother is tall and good looking, so he uses that DNA and pretends he fathered the kid.
It’s weird, but given his history of taking credit for other people’s work, I wouldn’t doubt it.

The single best predictor of MAGA leanings is “unresolved daddy issues”.

So they are, in fact, sending their best people.

Agreed. Was talking to one of my fellow GenX colleagues, who literally said “I don’t think I’ve changed that much since high school.” Dude, WTF have you been doing for the last 35 years?
So many of them hit 18, decided “I’m an adult now” and just stopped growing.

At this point college IS trade school. The vast majority of college graduates have a fifth-grade understanding of anything outside their specific area.
Also, College mostly exposes you to people just like you. For actual diversity, it’s trades or military.

Right after I adopted this guy, I couldn’t find him for a day. I thought maybe he had gotten out/decided life with me wasn’t for him.
Turns out he had hidden inside – yes inside – the sofa.

That was the most annoying thing – if I didn’t use the HP printer for a while, the ink would just dry up. Then I would have to buy new ink and run it through multiple head cleaning cycles just to get a single page out. I spent 8x as much on ink as I did on the original printer.

1000 times yes. I replaced my HP with a black-and-white brother laser printer three years ago. I will never go back. Print quality is outstanding, I still haven’t had to change the toner, and it just works.

Officer Candidate School: our class officer starts talking about class activities for TDay. I raise my hand and point out that per regulation, our class gets liberty. She sputters, leaves for 10 minutes, then comes back and sheepishly says we have the day off.
It pays to read the regulations.

In college mom threw me out of the house. Xmas eve she calls all apologetic, saying she wants me to come to dinner. I get there and she says we’re going to the Joneses’.
After dinner, we go back home and she tells me to leave. I spent Xmas in a hotel.
We haven’t spoken in 20 years.

Maybe at your local Chili’s. Mine does decent burgers and crispers, but everything else there sucks.
I got a steak there about six months ago and it was horrible—rubbery and flavorless. The mashed potatoes were clearly instant. Even the queso was gross.

Management jumping on every tech bandwagon, without considering whether it would actually bring value to the project.

I mean, I just went to Costco last weekend and got the jumbo pack of TP, so…
I am honestly stockpiling non-perishables because I expect prices to skyrocket in the next year .
