In the summer of 2024, Israel suggested the notion of “humanitarian bubbles” to distribute aid. The US, UN and humanitarian orgs rejected this as being incompatible with IHL and a defacto weaponization of aid. The current GHF scheme is basically the “bubble” idea - with predictable results.
