Wow. Where was this concern when government employees and contractors were having their home address posted on the DOGE website for the crime of doing their legal government jobs? (That didn't involve throwing potentially innocent people into foreign prisons without due process)

It’s still deeply problematic that journalist are granting the premise, without question or investigation, that Medicaid has widespread fraud, waste and abuse. Journalist are just repeating GOP assertions that the $863 billion in Medicaid cuts is fraud, waste, and abuse. It is not.

It's very simple: they illegally killed USAID openly, without a hint of subterfuge, and brazenly lied about what the effects would be. The US commentariat and democratic leadership are totally rhetorically unequipped to deal with that, because it would be biased and uncivil respectively
