This is a time to be building movements, not hiding. Not going underground. But take a close look at your weak points. Re-examine your assumptions that drive your contingency planning. What are your single points of failure in your fundraising, your communications strategy, your logistics, etc

Aha wow speaking of window of opportunity: NYPD adjusted tactics and now have a ton of patrol vehicles parked in the throughway outside 26 Federal Plaza, filling the space where protestors were jumping. Pretty pricey barricades!

As we’ve seen with porn site age-verification, the complexity and hassle of the AV process, along with attendant privacy concerns, stops 95% of people from proceeding. AV effectively becomes a government block on the site.

Success! ICE was forced to leave their hotel in the middle of the night after activists located where ICE was staying and surrounded the hotel with a noise demonstration. Hundreds of drivers joined in by blasting their horns as they drove by. Hotel management asked ICE to leave. #NoSleepForICE

If your pepperball-contaminated items can go in the washing machine, use the cold cycle with a couple tablespoons of Dawn dish soap (don't over-suds it). Do it twice. Don't use hot, it opens the fabric fibers and "cooks" the oils into your clothes. Let the soap do its job breaking down the PAVA. 2/

if you’re protesting or considering it, stop the bleed training is very easy and super useful: www.stopthebleed.org/training/onl... also look up IFAKs and make your own with gauze, tourniquet, gloves, and any other supplies you want available to you for you in the event you’re injured at a protest.

Because the first questions are about workplace safety, and worker rights, and authentic sexuality. The last is generally a pretext for censorship: "this speech is dangerous"

But we focus on consent because it's a good guideline for saying "did the people involved willingly agree to do this? were they able to say no? did they know what it would entail? how did they feel about it?" All of which are more pertinent than "how does their performance affect ME"
