I was too. I also didn’t like the Bosconian “ALERT, ALERT!” sound bite when I played my Memaw’s Namco Museum games cuz it was loud and sudden.
Now, I kinda love both in a nostalgic way. Especially the “Sinistar” sound bite because I heard it wonderfully sampled in a Lapfox Trax song.

Cont: I also tried to make most entertainment based events if I can, cuz I love seeing other entertainers!
I even hosted on with my husband (not a fur) a LONG time ago and had a blast doing that.
But all in all, I completely understand the overwhelming feeling. Cons are so much sometimes. Miss em.

Haven’t been to a “big” con yet.. BUT the one I did go to, did have a rave.
I only liked the raves, only for the music cuz I dance BAD.
I probably would go to parties (only if my roommates did one) or the dance competition if given the chance but I usually always lurked in the game rooms. 🕹️
