Russia and Germany were both trying to take over Europe. China, according to you, is trying to take over a tiny country a fraction of its size. But it still needs to build up its army - which is already the largest in the world - to do that for some reason.

The Chinese soldiers fighting for Russia in Ukraine were recruited by Russia and are paid by Russia; China did not "send" them at all. There are also Chinese nationals fighting for Ukraine (but not as many bc they're volunteers).
