No special information from anyone at SWF tbc, just based on how things look to me from the outside.

Both cross protocol groups and articles would be great to see. Semi informed opinion is that long form on AP will be the first thing SWF releases.

caley's gut market call is that we're in a "wait for hard data on the real economy" period where Trump isn't going to retreat absent a crisis, which apparently isn't happening now, and we're going to find out what these new trade barriers do to an economy (probably not good things)

Its a problem tbc, but please can all of us on this side of the fence be clearheaded about what is and isn't happening.

Its not even the biggest political attack platform in American history - more impactful than Hearst? Let alone Pravda. Its a large platform, not a behemoth like Ig & TT, dependent on user content so whatever editorial direction is being imposed from above doesn't exactly command the entire system.

He's also a dork troll. There is a ceiling to whatever stupid revenge he's trying to mount on the media for not taking him seriously. Agree - comment belongs on Bsky now (more diverse opinions needed) but, for some, X still works for news gathering. We don't like it but we can't be blind to it.

I'm a bit less convinced Feeds & Discover will take over from follows. I think people like all of their interests shuffled together - *Metallica* *News* *Batman* *Puppy* - with their 100 favourite accounts surfacing regularly. Like Spotify but with reading and you're permanently hitting *skip*.

Could it be a more spontaneous process though? Someone pops up 5 times in 15 posts and you think "wow this is bloat" *unfollow* Or could it harm Bluesky's stickiness in the medium run as people find their Following feeds more bloated?

Benefits bashing rhetoric aside, re-tooling our system so it encourages people into work is desperately needed when we have such a high proportion on sickness & unemployment. Goes along with wider public sector reform.
