Love how it looks like a weird deep sea fish

Weren’t a bunch of conservatives weirdos salivating over North Korean propaganda videos of their soldiers doing stunts that have nothing to do with militarily readiness?

I’m still amazed at how much modeling work went into the fleet

I consume media with a computer and a projector. Subscribed to Disney+ to watch Andor, but they cap streaming quality at a blurry level if you try to use a computer. It’s insulting

Yeah, I’d love this. As well as a mod to fully level up the research tree, or at least grant a huge amount of salvage. The research mechanic feels a little clunky, I don’t like feeling penalized for trying more diverse builds.

Yes, there's definitely something sci-fi about his eye arrangement and color scheme. And if it makes you feel better, he's only about 3 or 4 millimeters big.

It throws off the color balance so much that his skin tone starts looking comparatively normal

Beach access is my pet peeve, especially after moving to Massachusetts from California!

The amount of whining from drivers when my city did some traffic calming was truly unhinged. Demanding the city pay for when they blew tires from ramming curbs or managed to zoom onto an island and perch their car on its undercarriage

I saw the number sequence before I read the text and thought this was about the Star Wars films. It would be a somewhat unorthodox but not completely insane ranking of them

I like that there was a court case that said police departments are allowed to reject applicants who score too highly on aptitude tests

jfc I thought this was a joke

The art design was so solid, especially given the limitations of the time

I want to see this tweet enshrined in museum displays and history books to sum up how stupid our current era is

The fueling process for bike transportation is also more pleasurable than a gas pump. I like stopping for calories at ice cream stands and lobster roll shacks.

Uh I’ve wanted something like this for 30 years. The 10 weapon / 3 group limit has bothered me since the game came out

I remember landing late and being able to catch a Silver Line to South Station, but then the Red Line closed. Walked with all my luggage as far as MIT then I gave up and called a cab

I'm comfortable biking in traffic which opens up a lot of the suburbs, bike connectivity is steadily improving with new infrastructure. But even though the airport is only a few miles away, it would take a herculean effort to bike there and the transit hours suck for very early or very late flights

Just upgraded from stock Bontrager wheels to DT Swiss 350s. It was like switching from a jackhammer noise to a gentle breeze.

It’s funny how the clean aesthetic of the DOS version has aged better. Reminds me of how leaving some stuff up to your imagination is more elegant than trying to fill in details, like the original Star Wars films versus the prequels

His book is so bad! I’m still angry at all the glowing press it got from people who should know better

Works well on Dosbox, I made an image of the CD I bought when I was 10 and I’m still playing it. Would absolutely pay for a gog version though, especially if they could do some minor bug fixing

There are some informative comments on the article that add additional context, like the one pointing out that the country club next door is not under the same threat.
