Obviously too advanced for the level, but do you think the stuff is legit or is he just using his pitchability to get through some young guys?

I guess Palmer has played some IF in the past also.

Erm, who is going to play the infield if an injury happens in-game? Seem a bit thin there.

Definitely giving it up for Simeon Woods Richardson for playing to the home crowd there.

You can say that again.

I don't how anybody could watch the video of him finding out, with his family entering the clubhouse, and not get emotional.

Not only is this unjust, but her explanation made absolutely no sense. There wasn't even a complete thought there. Did anybody in this administration actually take a grammar class?

Gotta go with @cubsmith.bsky.social. I think his lineup has at least 6 future MLBers in it. And several difference makers at that level.

I felt the trailer was definitely setting the style for the show, where it fits into the timeframe. Look at the set design, costume design, even the soundtrack in S1, it very much put it pre-ANH with the 70s vibe. I loved it. And I felt we had that in the trailer but fast forward in time a little.

I can be fine with all of this. But if they are in contention by trade deadline and there is a rental ace out there, or one with another year, they have no excuse to not chase The goodwill is about evaporated with this regime, no?

I want to thank you for all of the time and care you put into this annual list. I can tell you proof-read & edit your copy because it's more rare to find a typo in your work than it is to see Rafaela walk!

I would still like at least ONE bat on the bench for late-game replacement. Or if you do have that injury late in a tight game. I'm sorry but I would want a DeJong or Davis taking that at bat than a Rule 5 pickup or guys who don't have any history of hitting.

All good now, but how will he feel if the Cubs are muddling around .500 in late June? What’s the saying? Winning cures everything.

Would really like two more solid relief arms added, one TOR, and one 100 OPS+ utility infielder.

I remember at the time of the trade thinking it could be a sneaky good move. When the guy was on, he could hit. We did not get that guy in the trade.
