I saw Tina Smith with her family at my liquor store’s block party. She seemed normal. Meanwhile the Klobuchar staffer I’ve went on to work for Comcast. Freak shit.

Ah. Ok. That might make more sense.

My parents hosted a joint Nada Surf/Guided by Voices after show party at our house in 2012. Either that or having Bill Murray sit down to eat at a mostly empty restaurant I was in on a random Tuesday in St. Paul in January 2010.

They made a whole, very successful, show on the premise that there are as many hours in a day as there are episodes in a show’s regular season run. They unironically couldn’t make 24 in 2025 (let’s not talk about the show’s politics. We all know they were terrible)

I have lots of thoughts on this, none of which will fit neatly in a Bluesky thread

I know nothing about it. Doubtful, because they were able to pull up my profile and see old prescriptions, but not the one I want. Old pharmacy is gonna try and resend the transfer.

It’s one of the first! If memory serves, it’s mid-season 1

I had a coworker whose husband’s hobby was building airplanes in their garage. He would build one over the course of ~5 years, fly it a bit, then sell it.

The beachSUCKS! Lets lay on hot sand that gets everywhere & when we're miserably hot we can go float in saltwater inhabited by a bunch of shit that wants to eat you. Fucking amazing idea, should I bring a 600 lb. cooler? Hopefully there's nowhere to park so we can get a workout lugging all our shit.

Like actively managed mutual funds? There aren’t too many in 401ks. The index funds wouldn’t be very exposed either and are cheaper.

The original Myst CD-ROM came with a Making Of documentary. I watched it so many times as a kid. It used QuickTime 1.0!

If they keep it up they could end up with an activist hedge fund getting involved and then he’s gone for sure. TGT is lucky less then 5% of their stock is owned by hedge funds.

It doesn’t even take long. You can pickle red onions (the quick way) in less than a minute in the microwave.

In retrospect it shouldn’t be surprising that part of what radicalized me was my high school’s Catholic Social Justice class taught by a guy who almost became a Jesuit priest. FFS he had us watch El Norte in class.

New goal: increase my kids’ spice tolerance until they can stomach this. Looks delicious.

I also grilled chicken tonight. Mine was a citrus marinade overnight. What’s your go-to?
