Only hope for electability for this bunch is to have a wildly unpopular leader of the governing party. And we will see how that turns out shortly. After they replaced the wildly unpopular dude.

Why would anyone want to expend the constant effort to deal with this shit. Open racism, gun nuts, anti any sort of progress socially, privatize everything folks and on it went. There was no moderate middle there. All what the right wing wanted and nothing else ever for policy.
