You might as well be a republican, if you are ranking Cuomo anywhere

I believe he's in support of guaranteeing lawyers at detention hearings, and not cooperating with ICE. And he spoke about taking his dad to his immigration check ins. Legal clinics (staffed by law students) only take on a few cases a semester. They are very selective in picking clients and cases.

I agree it happens in many ways. Just not in court, unfortunately

Been there If you have affordable people in your area, I've just decided to start having a hair dresser to it. Wash and the simplest twist, for a twist out. Worth it

Great scene. But speaking as a lawyer, liberation doesn't not happen in the courtroom. I love what I do, I help people, but it's not liberation work.

You did something for them that got you arrested for? Or you bailed them out paid for thier lawyer?

Honestly, these kinds of posts might as well be fanfiction.

Why do we think this is church? It's definitely not a service.

I think that's true of the "movie stars." (reminds me I forgot lakeith stanfield) But because TV has gotten so expansive and more prestigious, I overall feel like their is a wider rage of notable black actors in that age range. But im also biased, bc my media consumption is going to include them

Oh! Jherell Jerome! Brian Tyree Henry & Zazie Beats I'm personally obsessed with Jessica williams, but will acknowledge her resume is not quite on par with other people listed.

*Donald Glover *can't remember if she won

I think you also have to include Keke, Donald lovers. Award winners like Quinta B, and Lamorne Morris. Contenders like Ayo Edebri (can't remember is she woman), and Tyler James Williams. Im putting Aja Naomi King on any list. Love her, she on her 3rd TV drama.

How are we defining elite? And are we excluding the black brits?

Only in middle school: tennis, soccer, basketball, volleyball No sports at my high school I trained a couple of weeks with a club volleyball team in high school, but couldn't afford to actually join.

My interpretation: Fewer is shorthand for "Fewer than expected", which it seems they used for data points that didn't have an exact "before" number. Ex. The article explains that the cameras being used to count cars in the street were just installed in 2024.

A classmate in college thought the catholics killed Jesus. I had to explain the Romans vs Roman Catholics. She really had no idea before I said it.

I was close-ish. I was guessing a tag line like "with the right resources, we can do anything you can do" Definitely knew it was about accessibility in some way.

Wisdom. I think I saw someone saying he wasn't on the guest list this year. That last year he went with tiktok, but this year tiktok doesn't have a table

I'm confused. Writing credits have been very public for a minute now, from genius to spotify.

Are people saying this based on your avi? Or are people saying this in real life?

They can bleep a live broadcast. If they'd planned for it, they would have.

Don’t rank Cuomo and do rank five good apples. Need a refresher, it’s here.

Pro-Palestine movement literally begged DNC to make room for them in the tent. Back to back bad decisions from DNC put Trump back in office.

He was the face of romance novels. It was less about him and more about the OG shut he was the face of.

I feel like now it's just a PR term. Like a mixtape doesn't get the full label push. And if an album doesn't do well, it's rebranded as a mixtape.

Damn. I've got to stop talking to dumb people. As you were.

There isn't a single state where the jill stein voters were bigger than the gap Kamala lost by. You are focusing on the wrong votes/voters.

Oh, you look at the 25 yo as having the lower maturity level?

Not bad, just confusing. Is this theoretical or anecdotal?

I'm not going to change your mind on this. Because you're coming from a default that Iowa is bad/embarrassing/incapable. And it might be. But there is no space in your mind that would entertain that this one thing is a positive. Even though schools will produce the same number of doctors.

Ahhh, this exchange makes more sense now. This is more about resentment for the state you grew up in. They dont deserve this policy. The out of state students are more deserving. This is exactly what prioritizing looks like. Admission is zero sum. Fixed or flexible, you have to cap it somewhere.
comment in response to post
Even if they could address all the reasons that Iowa is not a place people want to live, it'd still be their perogative to prioritize in state applicants. Again, it's an established practice. Your perogative to disagree, but I'm guessing you don't live in Iowa so 🤷🏾‍♀️
comment in response to post
For the reasons you're aware of, no one is lining up to live in Iowa. They need doctors nonetheless
comment in response to post
What are you disagreeing with? You don't think they can admit <20 additional Iowa base med students. You think Iowa doesn't have an extra 20 students a year that can be successful in med school? Or do you disagree that a state should try to address their brain drain problem?

Turns are scary. I don't come to a complete stop, but I would if I could without judgment😅
