Hey remember when Disney/Lucasfilm canceled THE ACOLYTE and refused to stick up for the cast/crew, and everyone just let 'em off the hook 'cuz SKELETON CREW and now they're tryin' to sell you toys and books about it despite not supporting the storytellers? Cool cool cool.

Boyle’s frenetic but affecting 28 YEARS LATER owes more to the post-apocalyptic stories its predecessor inspired (THE WALKING DEAD, THE ROAD, THE LAST OF US, A QUIET PLACE) but, thanks to some strong filmmaking and performances, offers enough to be memorable. Looking forward to the next two!
