Mohamed Salah, how does he leave us without words after every game, best player in the world! I don't think we even realise how surreal a season he's having! Even his defensive contributions this game, helping out Trent so many times. Truly a King 👑.

The more I scroll on X, the more videos I find of bad refereeing moments. Everton scoring from a free kick which was rewarded for a dive by Ndiaye, Salah clearly fouled by Alcaraz in front of the ref, almost 4 mins added in top of the additional 5 mins, Konate fouled in the lead up to the goal.

The discourse around Salah online is so frustrating to read / listen. The general line of argument will be, 'His numbers are great but as a football player I prefer others', obviously prefering the "aesthetically pleasing" ones. His technical ability and reading of the game is completely undermined.

Frustrating game to watch. Poor first half, better second half, but overall felt very lethargic. Referee was so infuriating. No yellows for Joelinton or Gordon. Commentary didn't help either, berating Nunez for smiling after a miss but having a laugh at Gordon's dive. Take a point and move! Salah 👑🙏

Liverpool vs Real Madrid at 1:30 AM always takes me back to 2014 when I was allowed, for the first time, to watch a match that late in the night. Still remember watching the likes of Balotelli, Joe Allen, and Fabio Borini till 3:30 AM in the night!
