Members of Congress can't be prevented from no-notice inspections of ICE detention facilities, by law. Starting a half hour before 47s ego parade, Members across the country should walk into every ICE facility in the country with body cameras live-streaming everything. Rain truth on his parade.

Tell me again why history is not important. Why it should not tell the truth and the whole truth.

The risk level for Ukraine has always been high. But that’s no reason not to have courage and to fight the good fight.

The red hands on the columns is a powerful symbol of the pain and suffering of the indigenous people at the hands of police.

My migraine stopped when I left my office job and retired. Was it the stress or was it the ubiquitous fluorescent lighting? Haven’t had one in many years.

It’s the tariff argument all over again. You set the tariff - you pay the tariff.

Who’s doing the punishing? If it’s not safe to go to your country because of your out of control law enforcement, it makes sense that foreigners would not come. That’s your government punishing you. Again.

The rich offer poor people heaven so they don’t start demanding their rights here on earth.

Do we think he actually wrote all that himself?

That would only work if there was a strong authority there to police it. Do you really think that will happen?

And yet all three elections they got approximately half the votes. Trump is just the tip of the iceberg of sensationally dumb.

It makes it so much more believable that it could happen here and now. Will men stick up for our rights now? I’m not so sure. 2/2

The Libs say Australians don’t know what their policies are. But the Libs don’t have policies. They have talking points and imported culture wars. Essentially a US Republican franchise, they are not interested in governing. Division and mean-spiritedness is their end game. Just appalling people.

The Libs still think we live in Howard’s world. But those who voted for him in ‘96 are now mostly dead. People that age now are better educated, mostly progressive, accept climate change, worry about their kids & grandkids and reject the sexist, racist, science-denying worldview of the Coaltion
