I got the exact same treatment entering Canada, because I had been to a gun range earlier in the day. They found nothing, they searched EVERYWHERE AND EVERYTHING. I was patient and courteous. Now its over, lesson learned. Canadians hate guns, and especially USA guns.

When you apply for a VISA to enter the USA, you promise to avoid certain behaviors the host country considers wrong. Every country I've been to (11 so far) DOES EXACTLY THIS ON THE APPLICATION FORM. So stop it with the due process bullshit. He lied, he should GO now.
