Came out of working in a prison in 2020 to the world of TT. I found a lot of community and information to help me through school. I had my suspicions they were going to sell out. I'd rather be a "TikTok refugee" than give them anymore of my voice.

It's not exactly about coping. Dopamine is the reward center neurotransmitter. Some people are gamers, readers, and crafters while other enjoyed the community that came from TT. It wasn't just about scrolling. It was about community and sharing.
