Hi, this is Meg Barnette, Brad's wife. While escorting a defendant out of immigration court at 26 Federal Plaza, Brad was taken by masked agents and detained by ICE. This is still developing, and our team is monitoring the situation closely.

DA confirms they will go to the grand jury to seek first degree murder charges after they have time to review evidence. Under Minn. Law, 2nd degree was the highest charge they could bring by complaint (w/o GJ) & they needed charges to get the arrest warrant they used Sunday night.

I’m watching the Panama v Guadeloupe Gold Cup game on TV as we speak. It is being played in Los Angeles. And the stadium is almost completely empty. A sport that in the U.S. is highly dependent on Latino audiences is no longer viable. The World Cup cannot come here.

Maybe this is generational. But when I was a kid everyone’s address was in the local phone book. Most public libraries had phone books from other cites so I could find people from across the country too. Most people didn’t use this information for malice.
