It changes from day to day but my poetry collection Bad Vibes Only is a current fave. I feel like I evolved a lot w my style in this one #pretendpanel books2read.com/u/499MoJ

ICE has quotas. For abducting people. Number of people kidnapped in the thousands per day. Imagine that. These pigs are out here to abduct people who will be denied due process. And the people out here protesting those abductions are being tear gassed and maimed.

The poem I just submitted to a contest titled Hymn to the Delphian Pythia. I'm convinced it's the best thing I've ever written. I'm gonna be real disappointed if I don't win something. #pretendpanel

My most recent project, my very first finished and polished novel! It's my masters thesis as well. I'm so proud of myself for the dedication, planning, typing till my hands fell off, and bonding with other writers I did to create an entire book! #PretendPanel #WriteSky #WritingCommunity

A mind is a terrible thing to waste. From "The Strangers' War" #WriteSky #WritingPrompts #WritingCommunity #WIPSnips

I mean, where else is a nineteen-year-old genius supposed to get a radiation dosimeter? From Byron's arc of The Atlas Brothers Break the Multiverse #WIPSnips #WritingCommunity #WriteSky #AmWriting

#Saturdark A list of "The Five S's" five potions starting with S/Sh, called "The Assassin's Essentials" (the first four being part of a cocktail drank by the assassin and sometimes called "The Assassin's Brew." The last one, the poison, is coated on a weapon or put in the victim's drink/food

A day late but oh well. After I publish The Stardust of Failure next year I plan to work on Architect of Dreams— the same overarching tale from the antagonist ‘s POV! #pretendpanel

What I’m most proud of in The Demoness is the theme of agency. Whether you’re shaped by faith or fury, queer or straight, Black or white, human or even demon. it’s about claiming your voice when the world would rather speak for you. #PretendPanel #WritingCommunity #Writers #Authors #Writesky

#pretendpanel I’m unsure about this one. Probably some of my grief poems, which I wrote to process having two partners die close to each other. Those are close to my heart. #queerauthor #lgbtqia #transwriter #writingcommunity #writesky

I would have Atalantis recreated to scale in VR - the entire Texas-sized continent complete with all the locations and characters. And after you spend enough time in there, you get the full apocalyptic experience of the island imploding & sinking into the sea! Good luck surviving 😁😘

#ComJunity I try to give supportive comments. A lot of people (of all creative types) say it helps them have a better day, and getting specific about what you like about their post goes a lot farther than "good work." #WritingCommunity #WriteSky #WritingPrompts #writingprompt

When a reader enjoys my work, or tells me my first book saved their life, or the life of someone they know. It was unexpected & never my intention (how could it be?) so I take no credit, but “I’m a Little Brain Dead” (the story of my stroke while alone with my kids) has helped people. #pretendpanel

#PretendPanel ✨The Dragon's Emissary✨ 💙📚🪐|🌈📚 It's kind of cheating because I only JUST finished the actual editing, and it's not published yet... But I'm SO DAMN PROUD. The book reads really well, and I worked so, so hard to make it look pretty! I can't wait to share it with my family and friends!

#writingcommunity #pretendpanel #writers #authors #writesky Well since I missed yesterday's pretend panel, can I say that I'm most proud of what I'm writing now? When it's done it will be the longest, most complex thing I've ever created. I already love reading through it when I edit.

#Comjunity Ask questions. It's such a basic 'how to talk to people' hack, but it's super effective with writers because we generally love to be asked about our projects. If you find yourself in a critique situation, try to give the symptoms of your reading, rather than the diagnosis and treatment.

To be honest, I’m happy I completed my latest novel. It was the wildest, most complicated project I’ve ever attempted. And in this economy! #WritingCommunity #Writers #Authors #Writesky #PretendPanel

My current WIP as it's the first original story I'm writing where I can clearly visualise my characters and their backstories. That's not something I was able to do before, hence why any previous story would always be cast aside eventually. #writingcommunity #pretendpanel

#PretendPanel I’m usually proudest of whatever project I have finished most recently, so it changes over time. By that logic, I’m proudest of my unpublished speculative twist on a conspiracy thriller. (For my, finishing anything always feels like a triumph!)

Honestly, I'm incredibly proud of the novellas I wrote for my solo ttrpg blog. Each game pushed me in a direction I wouldn't have done myself and I feel like the prose was very strong, throughout. Narrative structure is definitely at the top of the "needs work" list, now.

#PretendPanel I’m a day late, answering this but… I’m not good at planning but I have good intentions to get my current WIP over the finishing line. After that, I’ll tug at my tangled knot of half-formed ideas and see what drops out or tickles my fancy. Too many ideas. Too little time.

I'm most proud of Titanic Voyage. I just re-read for continuity, & I still think it's great. I put a lot of myself into it. It wrestles with the problem of evil, has friendship & romance and so much angst! It probably won't be my most popular work, but I love it. #PretendPanel books2read.com/TV

I have trouble with pride to be honest. I'm very insecure about this stuff. But, I think the piece i'm proudest of *existing* is Barren. A story that's close to my heart, about an infertile trans woman surviving on a planet that can't sustain life, & learning to love herself, & live. #pretendpanel

I hate to play favorites. I’m proud of my series WIP because it’s steeped in history and I’m not a history expert. I’m proud of the Perfect Prophet trilogy, and right now I’m proud to have made the cut in this Graveside Press horror anthology because the rest of the work is so good! #PretendPanel

My Waterdeep Parks and Rec Activities Guide. I always wanted to write a Forgotten Realms series and with how it is now DMs Guild materials was the closest I've gotten to it. I also got to add to my favorite Realms city. #pretendpanel #writingcommunity #writers #authors

My current WiP. It's my comeback to writing, pouring absolutely everything I have into it. The amount of happy accidents I've had along the way affirms its importance. However, it still has a ways to go before publishing, and I'm continuing that journey to make it shine! #writing #pretendpanel

This is a tough one. I've written things that made people cry, had readers tell me I captured their experience like no other But I have a great fondness for An Embarrassment of Itches, a cozy mystery written for the heck of it, that then spawned a series. I didn't think I could do it! #pretendpanel

I'm proud of everything I write. I always have a goal when writing (a skill to work on). It makes me feel good when I achieve it. But the piece that makes me cry every time I read it is "The Wishing Well". A skill achieved on a different level. #PretendPanel #AmWriting judylmohr.com/download-the...

The penultimate chapter of my first book, JOY. My 22-year-old son was reading it in the passenger seat while we were on a road trip, and started to cry. One of the sweetest, proudest moments of my writing life.

#PretendPanel I'm most proud of Emily from Woman in White. It was the hardest story I've ever written, and I don't want to write it again: but we need more stories about post natal psychosis. And her voice is really intensely different to mine. I often think about her.

I say it's my fanfiction crossover, A New Beginning. It recently got over 1,000 favorites which is a HUGE milestone for me. I never thought it'd get this popular. It's longer than War & Peace and I'm currently working on the next chapter. #PretendPanel

Maybe I'm harping about it a lot but I'm so proud of Cuscuta! It's my first very long term writing project and I put much more of myself in it than I thought I would. The fact that so many people that read it connected with characters born from my own insecurities and hope is so touching.

#PretendPanel I'm quite happy with my current action-comedy WIP about a goofy heist crew getting dragged into the deeper currents of the city's turmoil. There's a passage I wrote last week that I'm especially proud of too. It has to do with the meaning of justice. 😁

#PretendPanel June 7: I am so proud of THE BLOODSTAINED SHADE, Book 3 of the Aven Cycle. The climactic sequence is one of my favorite things I've ever written, and it shows my growth as a writer. Though it's the longest book of the three, it doesn't feel it, because its writing is much tighter.

Difficult question for the living embodiment of Eeyore, #PretendPanel but, as I was recently informed of reviews for both; It is a tie between #InFog and #CantYouSeeMe. In wildly different ways they are everything I could have wanted them to be and I am surprised I wrote either.

It’s not a full book, but this short story is near and dear to my heart. It’s something I wish I had had when I was growing up and figuring things out. #PretendPanel #WritingCommunity #WriteSky

#PretendPanel I think I'm most proud of Fallen Star at present. It's building up to that swashbuckling adventure, but it's grounded by the realities of a world ruled by money-grubbing corporations. You can read it here: adorkablesmile.neocities.org/Fiction/Fall... #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

Make friends with them. You get the boon of companionship in this technologically isolating age (good for mental health), but you also get the perk of having natural interactions with other people. Write about your friends (and enemies) with this. Your writing will BE more human. 🧵1/2 #ComJunity
