I’m a bit past that point right now, actually. I know this might not help a ton, but that map is much smaller than it looks There’s also few nice items to pick up there in the optional areas

Even later end gear has some kinds of trade-offs in stats to compensate for added effects and abilities, so you’re rarely getting straight upgrades to equipment

I literally have my Monk’s defense at 1(From other gear) and it makes 0 difference just because he has so much health and dodges most attacks and magic

I have my Monk geared out so he’s consistently doing the highest damage out of everyone else by HUGE amounts. Add on the fact that he has increased chances to stun whatever enemies he attacks, chance for second action, dodges a ton and has obscene amounts of health

Thank you. Things are still looking grim, but honestly I was having a really bad night. Mental Health-wise. It’s just…incredibly difficult to not panic right now :/

I had some minor gripes, but I can’t deny that the ending skyrocketed it to one of my favorite games!

I don't think the game is bad and I certainly don't regret buying it, but...I definitely think I got swept up in the mindset of: "Oh! It's one of the cult classic SNES JRPGs that was never localized! I remember playing a bit of the fan translation! I bet the game is even better than I remember!"

Not to be a downer, but the game is far less interesting than I remember it being 😅 The combat is functional, the game is really easy(Which I don't really mind), followed by odd difficulty spikes, and the stories are...fine, so far? I guess?(I'll totally admit to finding Prehistory pretty funny)

Oh I’m really not that much farther than you! I know I can’t either. And it already sold at least 500k copies! This must have been such an unprecedented success for the devs!
