I won't be going on about this forever, but the more I think about it, the more it looks like sacking Ange was a corporate decision (notably signed off on by the board, not Levy alone), as in not so much about the football as about a fresh start for new exec leadership and a new corporate strategy.

I completely disagree with the idea that the case for keeping Ange is emotional only. There’s a very strong rational case for keeping.

People keep repeating that Spurs were favourites for Europa league, implicitly lessening Ange's accomplishment. We may have been betting co-favourites in England, but data sites had us 4th with less than a 10% chance theanalyst.com/articles/eur... @profspur.bsky.social @notthatmilo.bsky.social
