Thanks, that's interesting. The Stalinist left in the USA does feel even more pitiful than the one here in the UK - which is totally absent from public life but has some small groups holding together quite distinct, historic tendencies.

And what about after the October revolution? Trotsky himself said that when he was younger he made mistakes and that Lenin was correct. What matters is when he became a Bolshevik, Lenin put him on the CC almost immediately and then began a strong work relationship

the female proletariat has different types of oppression to the male proletariat and gender non-conforming proletariat - where do we stop? We should understand the breadth of oppression under class society, but fight as one class - otherwise the bourgeois will exploit the division in the movement.

Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and the other ills of class society do mean that there are countless different ways in which oppression expresses itself - the root amongst all of them is class. The black proletariat cannot emancipate itself alone, the same with female proletariat etc.

The black proletariat is part of the international proletariat - to divide the working class on these lines is divisive. The working class movement can't be the white movement, the black movement etc. as separate movements - it must be as one.

Lenin has always been viciously slandered. From the Mensheviks, to the Provisional Government calling Lenin a German agent, to the vicious attacks launched by the bourgeois after the working class successfully took power in October 1917. More and more people are seeing through this bullshit.
