This is the perfect time for an "all sides" argument! Bernie is right.

I think this place does the same. I will just book like 12 appointments. Oh you wanted time for other patients? Ha!! Fix me first.

We probably get hardware updates so the ads run smoother.

I ended up voting in person. I'm glad you still can vote!!
comment in response to post
I tried mail in voting once and I got my ballot too late.

Yup! So long as I purchase it in Canada, it's clear for me IMO

100% made up charges based on manufactured "evidence" hoping to get a Trump loyal judge.

It's blended and packaged in Canada and grown in Kenya. That supports Canadian workers. The brand is owned by Lipton teas in Canada. Lipton teas is a Dutch company. All of this to say, I have put it on my acceptable non-US items list.

That's fair. I'm just saying it could be an option. We always have multiple ways to vote. In order for me to vote w/my phone I had to scan my passport (which apparently has some tech in it that let's a phone scan it just by placing it closed on top of my phone). I still prefer pencil & paper voting

A horrible, never ending case of edging. If you were in charge, what would Sandle's story be?
comment in response to post
Me too!!!!! I always assumed he'd be the final reveal or someone to save everything.

Yup!

How much evidence do you think they've made up for this trial?

My bet is that this has never worked for that person. Your face calm. SMH

Maybe I need to reward my next driver by cancelling!

I was able to vote for the Liberal leader with my phone. That part seems like a good idea!

Reminds me of fall when the woodstoves used to kick in but without the nice cool air to offset it.

You aren't enjoying our wildfire smoke? I told my US friends we had their yearly order of smoke for them ready at the border. I can see and smell the smoke here in Belleville!

I read the book back in the early 90's as part of mandatory reading in English class. The books is better (as is usually the case) but it's way easier to see the path and how it relates to US happenings since the show is updated to more current times. Need people to stand up and stop it peacefully

I'm actually shocked that it took them this long to fabricate charges. I wonder if they'll use that annotated tattoo picture as proof during the trial.

My hope is the Dems will pull their shit together and get all of them out of office before that happens. I can't see a path to that though. That big whatever bill has changes that will allow the president to suspend any election without martial law.

Basically Handmaid's Tale but without the outfits. In the short term (12-24 months), I think martial law will be declared after something happens to Trump or involving his being put out to pasture. And that will lead to civil war.

Yeah. Ruined a perfectly good Friday morning. There's still hope for this evening though.

My biggest wish is that somehow, someday, the US will embrace universal health care. Above everything else, I want this to happen so badly for you folks. Like you shouldn't have to pay for your treatment. Health care is a human fucking right.

Not yet 😡

I've been saying this since before the election results were given. Vance is who Heritage Foundation and Thiel want. They just needed Trump's moxy and cult followers.

I'm going to put a green up arrow next to all of the decreases on my dashboards and just say that "we are continuing to hold steady"

which, in turn, makes both parties better. That's where some ethics come in. And I think that's the big part that is already being left out as we transition data analytics away from human beings.

power, that IMO, should not be abused. Take my job specifically. I could sit around all day looking for more ways to nickel and dime our members as to extract max profit. OR, I could sit around all day looking for ways to make our members finances better so we can deepen our relationship with them

100% true. When I look at data, I always look at it from the lens of the impacted person first and as a human being I have the ability to choose not to present data that I feel will do harm Many ppl don't work that way and machines won't unless explicitly instructed to I have power as an analyst

They can watch me fight mosquitos and talk to my cats and live a very boring but fulfilling life of near solitude.

But as for it being "excellent", alas it's just not so wonderful. I don't like that we use data like this. I don't like living in a world where everywhere I put my eyes is analyzed. CABIN IN THE WOODS, Rob, Cabin in the woods!

There wasn't much I didn't already know but it was a very good read and I think everyone should definitely be aware of it!! I know of Palantir because of being in the data space and part of me would LOVE to be an analyst with so much data at my disposal but these are PEOPLE being manipulated
