If you have not played Steamworld Dig, I'd highly recommend it. There's such a simple gameplay loop, dig to collect gems to sell for upgrades so you can dig deeper, but it's also a metroidvania and has a surprisingly decent story and world. And when you're done with that? Pick up Steamworld Dig 2!

According to one comment you only "really need to" deal around 1750 damage to the Roaring Knight to win, coupled with me only being able to deal around 111-120 damage per Rude Buster, that means I "only" need to do it around 15 times, meaning at best I need to survive around 14 attacks from it. Oof.
