Unfortunately, that says more about American healthcare in general than the VA.
It suffers from the same as any other American institution - it spends tons of money on paying private contractors. Currently over 70% of the VA's healthcare budget goes to private contractors, including doctors.

What do you mean by that? Avs dominated 5 on 5 in the playoffs (ranked #1), while their PK sat below 70% and PP sat at 13.6% - and Bennett was responsible for special teams. Had they been even average, we win at least two out of games 2, 3, and 7 and we'd be laughing at Hellebuyck memes.

It'll likely work too. Dallas will be diving again, and the refs will call penalties on the Avs. Since the Avalanche special teams have been awful in this series, more penalties heavily favor the Stars.

I mean, it's not really a surprise... he's almost certainly dead already, but they won't admit that.

You've missed a few important executive orders if you believe the military will be called in on behalf of the people rather than the administration. There's a reason there are no potential nay-sayers in this administration.

I don't get this meme... the reporter is evil while Tulsi, Hegseth, etc. are the good guys who messed up?

I responded to: "What Canadian have you met that ever proclaimed a percentage of their heritage?"
I provided a response to your question. I'm not claiming my friend is representing all Canadians, as he's not the same as my other friends from Canada. Just like my Americans friends are all unique.

The real question is whether he can follow up and have several days in a row like that? Regardless, it'd be amazing to have him back even as a fourth liner.

Maybe not percentage, but one of my Canadian friends happily claims half Scottish and half Danish heritage even though both sides of his family have been in BC for a century.

I think a large part of the problem is that many people don't have anybody like that whom they love, and thus, it's a lot easier to hate. Empathy is a lot easier to feel when it's somebody you know who's hurting.

They're challenging it everywhere. The real problem is that American media is now completely in control of the billionaires who have jumped on board the crazy train. Even NPR is super careful about what they say anymore. You have to go to international media if you want to find anything out.

Chattanooga was the original one. NextLight in Longmont was one of the first to follow. I only have experience with NextLight, but they've been awesome, and as they made more money than expected due to high rates of adoption, they lowered pricing: mynextlight.com

Not true. Some of us have municipal fiber committed to an open Internet. That said, I'm aware there aren't many places where an ISP like that is available, and I too have been forced to deal with the evils of Verizon, Comcast and CenturyLink in the past.

I think you seriously underestimate how many young male nerds fall for this crap. The incel to neo-nazi pipeline is real.

Like Trump did when he told Congress to NOT pass the border bill everybody agreed to, he was also in constant contact with Netanyahu this past year, deliberately sabotaging any kind of peace deal. As I'm sure you know, this is a clear violation of the Logan Act.
Just like the Iran-Contra Affair.

From anybody watching from outside the U.S., there was one candidate who was fully prepared, ran with a fully fleshed agenda and plans for everything from education to the environment and healthcare which anybody had easy access to. And yes, many of these satisfied what "the left" wanted.

The reason nobody asks that of Biden and leadership Democrats is that voters didn't give them four years.
On top of that, the Democratic Party isn't exactly a cohesive mass where everybody has the same values, unlike the current GOP. AOC and Joe Manchin are very far apart politically.

He has to take some classes at the CC campus as well, plus summer school and an internship. Much depends on the load he decides to take. If he doesn't finish before graduating high school, the remaining part of his AS will be on campus as well. He's only a freshman, but he's been doing AP as well.

In many places, this is happening. My son's getting an associate's alongside his high school education here in Colorado. I think it would be free even if he wasn't in a special high school program, though he'd have to wait until after high school if he wasn't. Lots of studying, though.

You can't disagree about facts. A book that discusses anorexia or bulimia isn't going to randomly cause a child to develop either. Unhealthy beauty ideals? Possibly, but even there we have tons of other factors weighing in. My best friend had no idea what anorexia was, and still developed it.

Those are some vastly different sets of subjects, all of which I can already tell you do not have the knowledge to form an educated opinion on. Not that this is stopping anybody these days.
Also, it's "contagion."

What's your idea of "sexual topics?"
I'm glad I had the first parts of sex ed in 4th grade, and it's no surprise that places where that's not available have much higher teen pregnancy rates.
As far as "social contageon" goes, I hope you mean Christian Nationalism.

School and local libraries need to have books that address difficult topics as well. Not everybody can afford to buy books, and resource materials are super important to vulnerable kids who don't get the support they need at home.
