What's interesting to me is that it was once the "left" complaining about USAID "promoting US foreign policy objectives under the friendly guise of aid," and now the "right" complain they hand out free condoms. USAID just can't win. libcom.org/article/frie...

That looks so delicious! I’ve made other Cajun dishes and this needs to be next on my list… if only I had a good recipe šŸ˜‰

Obama is more of a man than I. Assigned seat or not, I couldn't sit next to him.

I’ve never found the Advanced Search user friendly and typically avoid it unless looking up by institution, state, or PI (then try to combine all to narrow). Most programs link to recent awards which is much easier if that’s what you are looking for.

I just shared this with my grown daughter: it was the first audible book we listened to as a family

The problem with a cult is that they can do no wrong. Any ā€œbrokenā€ promises will be spun to place the blame elsewhere, especially Democrats, but whomever they need to blame or throw under the bus. This is the challenge in an age of disinformation.

My career coach gave me ā€œtime to strategize during work hoursā€ permission which entails getting away from my computer, emails, etc. and let my brain process. This relieves my ā€œunproductiveā€ anxiety and lets me embrace creative thinking.

I was gonna say… better get used to this level of force along with police immunity. Gibson may be pardoned in a few weeks.

Can there or is there some kind of artist tag that says ā€œArt without AIā€? At a recent Native American conference I attended, the organizers made it clear the logo was generated by an artist without using AI (eliciting well deserved applause).

Omg. That was hilarious šŸ˜‚. I just shared it with the family.

Great essay! It’s one of my favorite King novels, and I have been reading them since a kid (40 odd years!). World building is something science fiction authors often talk about; I love that King has built a world that so many of his novels fit into, even though they aren’t explicitly connected.

Or after Strunk and White, read Spunk and Bite. Especially if they’ll be writing grants.

My guess is that progressives (including myself) stopped responding to polls after the election. I need to follow up on my YouGov requests.

That’s what concerns me… after the crash report where the occupants couldn’t figure out how to exit the car. Apparently the doors don’t open easily if they lose power?

Logic models are awesome! I’ve mentioned them to dozens of STEM faculty and find many have never heard of Logic Models.

I realize lots say it’s actually safe, but because of Uber/Lyft rides… how do you get the door open if the power is shut off?

Maybe we should go into the woods and start memorizing the books?

First send a few GPS satellites. Oh, and maybe a few Goggle servers connected to the satellites. And satellite ready smart phones.
