his body is barely cold in the ground, how would he be reincarnated into a 30-year-old man? besides this insane quote, studying toriyama's insanely huge body of work your whole life and emulating it is not the same as pioneering it.

I had to block the guy I replied to. Case-study in disappointing public scientific discourse. You mention you have a degree, and they freak out.

notice how nowhere in my post did I say anything at all to warrant this person's response. he simply does not like the mentions of the words masters or phd.
comment in response to post
you actually just seem really self-conscious about not having a college degree

hope you're not referring to me. we put MD in our names. it's literally propping ourselves up with a title. What could you possibly mean

also, it looks like that probably never stops.

there's a weird barrier you have to cross between masters' and PhD where people call you a fucking idiot and tell you everything you say is incorrect.

a guy I parked next to at the auction got me pretty good. His front bumper was destroyed, and he comes out of the building while I'm sitting in my car about to leave, points at me, and goes "DID YOU DO THIS?"
comment in response to post
He died from this I assume.

Yes, we all have flaws. Most people make no effort to fix or mend their flaws, some do. The thing that separates us is contained within this effort.

I wouldn't be surprised if you could be hacked by posting this. Computers can do some weird thangs these days.

And how do you make money in India unless you have an insane work ethic paired with extreme savviness? Do you just not like their food? Like what's the deal
comment in response to post
Their country's sheer population demands them to compete from a young age to even have a chance to escape their continent. As a data scientist you have to fit into an Indian ecosystem because they have been training their whole lives for something we just started to learn.

It's not even a lie. How does one quantify their own addiction? If you smoke crack twice a week, I would say you are not addicted. It seems like he could handle his shit, and the average alcoholic is more dangerous with a gun than a recreational piper. Which side is taking away guns?

However, if you want to you can simply type in the name of the band you wish to listen to and it's there. There are things for you in this world, you just have to know to look for them. But you need to make a conscious decision to stop being forcefed what the last person digested.

Most people like bad music. Musicians with degrees in performance from Berklee et cetera who actually know what music is supposed to sound like get 2000 listens. The algorithm forces homogeny on the lowest common denominator. Creativity is discouraged.

Or Helen Keller. Build a model which can think without knowing a single word and I might be impressed. Intelligence is not built on a foundation of words; it's the other way around. Until then we are making our adversaries/replacements. #ai

I do not think we are doing this, so I am moving to Seychelles. Good luck to everyone. Your bank accounts will not work, the internet and power grids will be held for ransom. While we are vulnerable nations will likely invade and there will be no food. Geoffrey Hinton thinks 4 years I think <3

Quantum computers don't "exist in multiple universes" like some loud google engineers say. We have 1 universe with unlimited branching possibilities. The more likely that possible future, the more our reality is pulled toward it. It takes a concerted human intervention to avoid doomsday midnight.

I hope to be able to add to the field of AI Defense, but it will be too late at that point. AI is a weapon. It will be used to disable the internet, and the power grids just by asking it nicely. Unless there is a Manhattan project to build a savior AI entity we have ~3 years.
