@aoc.bsky.social Do not set us up for failure. I fully condemn Trump’s actions, but they are fully legal within the scope of the War Powers Resolution. He has 59 more days until he requires Congressional approval. If we come out swinging on a failing argument, momentum is lost.

Everyone saying what #Trump has done in #Iran is illegal, under the War Powers Resolution it is legal. Functionally, this strike is identical to Operation Eldorado Canyon, deemed legal. Don’t hand the GOP the easy win by making claims they can easily quash. Regan didn’t get impeached. Do it right.
