I just found a tortise shell mum acquired on a trip, which of course would be illegal now. Like it is the full shell. And I'm sure we have some ivory things somewhere. I don't know what to do with the tortoise shell, I don't want to display it, may just let my sisters take it.

Keep in mind Wildfire Smoke, may not be ideal patio weather. Moscow on the Hill, Smack Shack (its Lobster Day!), Hola Arepa, Hai Hai, Joans in the Park, The Howe, Union Rooftop, Jax Cafe, The Gnome, Butchers Tale, Wise Acre, Centro

I loved living in Minnesota, even with a Republican Governor in Arne Carlson (not Pawlenty.) Only I had to grow old and worry about slipping on ice in the winters. Minneapolis/St. Paul have the best restaurants, the best symphony, the best dance troupes, the best art museums and artists.

I think the question is how *that* became the ideal. My neighborhood in Minneapolis has detached single family homes with their own yards etc. Arguably “suburban” (streetcar suburban), but far more dense and walkable than anything built 1945 on. Something shifted.

If you compare the streams of Minneapolis and LA, you will find out:
"The protests are nothing to be afraid of. It's the police."

This isn’t the first time I’ve been on the receiving end of slander and lies by All of Mpls. In January, they deleted posts across all platforms when they got called out for lying. They lied about how the May Day Cafe Cooperative was funded/called them our ultra-leftwing supporters. So out of touch.

We go to my dad’s hometown of Cannon Falls (which is now pretty much an exurb but whatever) for the 4th sometimes and I always see the small town streets and sidewalks, houses close together, neighbors chatting, and think “oh so like South Minneapolis but less of it”

We just rebuilt our giant blue cock years after Minneapolis was burned to the ground from antifa protestors.
