Trump likes to shout “ceasefire” so he looks like he’s done something positive but it’s as good as the ceasefire between Russia & Ukraine or Israel and Gaza, in other words-not real. Both Putin & Netanyahu know how to string along Trump.

Can I sue parents that don’t vaccinate their kids if my kid winds up sick and winds up in the hospital or with long term repercussions?
comment in response to post
Really doesn’t do us any good when Trump & his toadies control everything. He lied his first term, he lied while he was out of office and he has been lying since he got back in, yet his number are still not in single digits.

And even with this clear disregard for her constituents, they will vote her back in because “illegals, trans” are hiding behind every corner. By the time they realize damage Ernst & idiot GOP senators have done, it will be too late!
comment in response to post
Yep, those folks he gave badges to were business ppl so I’m guessing one or more has contacts with right ppl in admin & offered to “donate” hefty sum to Trump’s “campaign.”

Crappy take, lacking any compassion. I have other words, none of them nice for you & MSM, but I won’t use them. You all keep beating a dead horse while we have a serpent & a nest of vipers in the WH.
comment in response to post
Yes, however, since he has no “power” they aren’t going to listen to him. Republican senators will only start backpedaling once voters show up in large numbers to protest. But, doubt that will happen.
comment in response to post
Yes, I can blame voters. Instead of looking for a JFK or Obama, they should’ve seen the danger & how they were being manipulated by foreign powers. But, hey, sure, let’s blame the DNC cause we wouldn’t want to accept responsibility for our own stupidity.
comment in response to post
The kicker, a recent poll, despite the sh*t show & Trump’s awful numbers, shows voters would still reelect him. Again, it appears we, the voters, have not learned out lesson.
comment in response to post
Dem fiasco? LOL, why blame others for what is voters fault? Ppl keep voting or not voting on “principle” or because they consider both parties evil or because Gaza despite warning from Dem leaders, many others. Voters were told that they wouldn’t like the consequences & still they didn’t listen.

Unfortunately $400,000 worth of wiring will need to be added to make it AF1. It is just amazing how corrupt this man and his goons are.
comment in response to post
Interesting point, he knew they were going to do this since last year before he became president. Making the bribe even worse.
comment in response to post
You do know Democrats are in the minority, they have no power.
comment in response to post
Well, he has no power since he’s in the minority. The question should be why aren’t we piling on to Republican Senators? Why should they not feel the heat?
comment in response to post
Not sure why folks aren’t seeing that. Trump even said it was a concept. And Americans aren’t paying attn to the fact that we will be paying a 10% tax that wasn’t there before.
comment in response to post
Yep, it’s a concept of an agreement that they have agreed to. Which basically means nothing.
comment in response to post
Worse yet, the deal is not finalized. They agreed on a “concept” of an agreement. Unfortunately, look for hiccups as negotiators come across sticking points on both sides. Ultimately, American consumers will be paying the 10% tax (tariff) that was not there before.

Why are we deporting people to countries that are not their own? And why to jails, when they aren’t criminals? Look up how destabilizing it is to ship hardened criminals to a least developed nation. Look at how MS 13 grew from a small street gang in LA to terrorizing El Salvador.
comment in response to post
Wish the attorney general in Virginia would sue Trump for those funds as well.

Rather than continuing to find ways to cut taxes on everything, raise taxes on the rich. It’s time they carried their fair share of the burden. I’m sure they can get by with 1 plane or yacht instead of two or three.
comment in response to post
He shouldn’t be able to, but all the other things that DOGE killed were also appropriated by congress. Bottom line, without congress finding a backbone there is little standing in his way. If we could get French/S Korean style protests/strikes going we might put enough pressure on congress.
comment in response to post
Trump and his flunkies are going to destroy our economy, simple as that.
comment in response to post
It is important that we stand up for these two public broadcasting stations. Trump can’t get away with shutting down Sesame Street and other very positive programming. It really is time we start striking.

Was just coming to ask same question!

If Am@zon won't do it, somebody should.

The short answer is yes. He wants to control the whole Western Hemisphere. He believes if he expands US territory that will get his face up on Mt Rushmore. Which is also why he is trying to end war in Ukraine because he desperately wants a Nobel Prize.
comment in response to post
LOL, very good point.

Wow, what fantastic negotiating (heavy f**king sarcasm), I mean nobody else could have given Putin so much. At the same time, we are extorting minerals, as payment, from Ukraine. Trump has done more to damage our standing in the world in a short three months, there is just no one to compare him to.
comment in response to post
Yep, markings on his collar are weird.

Here’s one of those “wannabes”: www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...

Even if we get a sane president& admin the Magaverse is not going away anytime soon. It will be a constant battle to put them back in the bottle, and unfortunately they will not go quietly or peacefully, I believe.
comment in response to post
True. However remember Trump didn’t have that power the first term either, but he learned & despite all sorts of warnings & project 2025 voters still gave him a second term. Your sarcasm aside, when institutions are destroyed or compromised every thing fails, justice, etc.
comment in response to post
I agree w/your point, however all other countries are battling with their wannabe Trumps. Fortunately, for them, Trump’s insane antics have turned the public in those countries away from conservatives that were attempting to imitate Trump.
comment in response to post
So your solution was to go ahead & allow a dictatorship to take hold. I’m sure that all ppl suffering will thank you for saving the middle class. I’m sure middle class will be thrilled to have to juggle life under a dictatorship as well because this administration will make life better for them?
comment in response to post
LOL, I’m not loyal to either party. I recognize Democrats are sane ones, for now. I recognize evil of MAGA & Trump. I also recognize billionaires & corporations need to be reined in. However, I understand limitations of system & shooting myself in foot to make a pt won’t solve anything.
comment in response to post
All righty, how’s hope working out? You had 5 million turn out for protests on 5th of April, for lawmakers to take note you need 15-20 million, there also needs to be talk of a general strike. But at the moment folks are betting things will go back to normal & legislators will save us-they won’t.
comment in response to post
And you are part of the problem we face today. No candidate is ever going to meet all expectations, but once selected you vote for that candidate. Instead ppl like you get on your high horse of “both are evil” or principles & disregard all warnings leading to today.
comment in response to post
What is Bernie proposing? Because short of massive protests & nationwide strikes, hope won’t win this battle.

Texas is the experiment. If large opposition doesn’t rise up against these draconian measures, Trump will try implementing them at federal level. Texans need to stand up to Abbott, Patrick & Paxton.
comment in response to post
It will also track anyone they want. Texas is acting like the incubator experiment for what they want to roll out to rest of the country. I’m amazed that Texans are allowing it to go this far, thought they had more fight in them.

Makes Trump look weak.
comment in response to post
Now that SCOTUS has given him an off ramp without actually making him bring the person back, NOW he’s talking about sending US citizens down there & helping El Salvador build more prisons. Not to worry folks, he’ll ONLY be sending “criminals” down there.
comment in response to post
He’s only saying that because Trump & quislings have let him know they want him to keep the men. Otherwise you would see much different behavior.
comment in response to post
Bukele can return the man but chooses not to because Trump has made it clear there won’t be any repercussions for him. And he’s considering sending USCs. If SCOTUS doesn’t make it abundantly clear that Trump & his staff can be held responsible for that, then we are cooked.

They all were founding members of MAGA.
comment in response to post
Without Americans in those states protesting in mass, so the elected officials know they will lose their upcoming elections, yes, we will.
comment in response to post
MAGA yes, definitely are nut cases believing 100% Trump’s ideology. Swing voters that put him in office tend to not be so into the ideology as much as they thought he would be good for the economy. Some may now be regretting their vote.
