I haven’t looked into it because the stat doesn’t matter to me when there are mass shootings in the US daily. A crazy person with a knife can’t do the same damage, so I would trade our gun violence for their knife violence.

Hunting, sporting, and collection-type guns do not include ARs that can fire hundreds of rounds per second. The US allows pretty much any adult to own such a weapon with almost no restrictions, which is fucking insane and unnecessary.

This isn't even remotely possible for most people. Minimum $250 for a gun. Another ~$50 for ammo. Another $100+ for a gun safe, especially if you have children. Plus learning how to properly use it and maintain it.
