iirc (unless the publisher i work for is lying) switch carts are weirdly expensive so it doesn't surprise me most 3rd parties would just opt for the "fake physical" carts buuuut also it's gonna mean a lot of shittier publishers will push for the "fake physical" carts because cheaper
