Gender locked well anything, Healers having to basically just stand in a corner and do nothing but heal.
oh and uninvolved crafting, while I get most players want it easy, making it too simple removes downtime stuff to do.

Kickstarters from the beginning, in the vast, vast majority of cases are to fund a pitch in terms of both the actual capital to make the demo, and to show interest to a publisher in better hopes of securing a deal. Usually they'll launch with interested parties already, but that's no guarantee.

We live in a world where indie devs are being forced to go to Kickstarter to finish their games because publishers are backing out of existing deals. A Kickstarter project laying things out so folks understand why they failed isn't a goddamn conspiracy.
