Finding my way on this app. Probably some mix of the NBA/sports, shower thoughts/rants, etc.

Interesting that the intro didn't really mention the Spurs lol. Maybe the intro to the other games did but I did notice they weren't mentioned.

Wow I'd be embarrassed to have my name on an article with a title like that.

The internet is such a weird place because you get people, who have no qualifications whatsoever, saying that someone is unserious after leading a team to 50 wins in the NBA and is aspiring to improve. And people say it with such certainty with wild speculation. Love the NBA community 😆

Oh will republicans protect the people's power in Congress? They are completely lost, feckless, spineless, whatever other adjective you wish.

Pretty interesting to me that the Athletic closed comments for this article. The cynic in me says it's because they had too many people saying vile things. The entire media ecosystem is so trash.

Yeah until there's an actual alternative proposed, you're not going to get many people to your side. The status quo is bad. Name calling something neoliberalism is an effective way to scare people, but unfortunately, it is not good policy.

1) Who is funded by the Koch's? Not Klein and his co-author surely 2) A single example of a failure is not a reason to not try something. It seems you are advocating for the status quo which is very clearly not working.

Thanks for sharing. I think what the article is trying to do is say that deregulation = neoliberalism, which is pretty sketchy. Yes Klein is saying de-regulate but he's saying it so the government is not hamstrung by rules so that it can accomplish goals (not deregulation of corporate pursuits).

I have no idea how you got neoliberalism from what he was saying. I really gave the idea a chance too lol

Looking at some of the replies here, it's really amazing the vitriol that this guy attracts. Someone should examine the psychology behind it, I feel like we'd learn a lot 😆
