i think i'd say gen 6 was cool because it is definitely playing with the idea of fascism hidden under our noses (and the villain had a machine whose express purpose was to kill everyone we loved, which is sick) but yeah they were/are too afraid to be OVERT for sure.

i know this is like, one of the least loved generations, but like FOR REAL, they set the stage for a way more interesting plot up from the immediate, actual first second of the game... AND THEN DO NOTHING WITH IT.
no conspiracy, just a genuine tournament on the side while he tries to kill the world

he could've had gym leaders and some contestants in his pocket, forcing Eternatus' return, while also excavating the sword/shield relics to capture and use it for war. the relics don't work, you and Hop save the day with doggies- and it's broadcast on Rose's TV network.

Once you win/reveal Rose's secrets, the chairman interjects and disqualifies you for "slander", battling you himself instead of a very confused Leon when you refuse to exit the stadium. This event better sets up the climb in his HQ, and maybe TV copters follow you to the roof for the Eternatus fight

it can't unfortunately. what i can say is that he's no jk rowling. he hasn't doubled down, and has apologized for not seeing queer issues, but is obviously still a republican himself.
i see it as morally grey personally- each person will determine for themselves if they will or won't play FNAF.

afaik the website that tracks people's political donations hasn't updated his page with anything new, and that site was how we found out in the first place. it is also believed that after he was confronted he donated more than the original amount to queer charity but we can't 100% confirm it was him
