Since Mamdani won last night, NYC has FALLEN according to my friends there. It is utter chaos. They couldn't get in to their top 3 brunch places+their 4th choice only had spots at noon Sunday. The corner bagel place was out of everything. Bus was 5 minutes late and the bodega cat hissed at them.

After the Tree of Life massacre we went to shul and as we lined up to go through the metal detectors a huge crowd of Muslim folks stood outside with signs chanting their love and support for us. It was one of the most moving things I’ve ever seen and it’s a testament both these NYC communities.
